As we steal up the building faces
with our suction cups and silk
intricate blueprints tucked
in carabiners, combinations
memorized -
missing from our arsenal
the velvet sash-pull purse
for spiriting the gem
This omission could be seen
as compromise to mission
but the climb is calm and steep
our pockets are so deep
and the jewels are in the sky
not in the safe
