I'm The Nicest Guy You'd Ever Want To Meet 08/03

As I kneel down before you
I really ought to have a ring
Instead of lifting velvet box to you
The blues I sing
Well I've punched my share of walls
And cursed too loud I will admit
And stonewalled at the phone calls
Falling down my shallow pit
I've fixed my jacket in the mirror
But taht reflection ain't our past
And it can't get any nearer
Until the gulf is not that vast
And I'm the nicest guy that you'd
Ever want to meet
I'm the kind of strong that
Doesn't knock you off your feet
It sweeps them out from
Under you and lays you
Down on the bed
It keeps watch over you
And cradles your head
