I punched a wall today
It had done me no wrong
I opened my mind today
It had done me much wrong
I didn't drink again today
Drink did me no wrong
I didn't smother my desires today
And I didn't feel wrong
I guess I felt strong today
I think that strong is something new
For now, I understand
And that truly is something new
