Orleans XXVII ('91)

I took my cue and said...

"But wait, this is not a play.
There are no cues here. No one
has written this for me,
I say what I wish."

And you said...

"But wait, everything I say depends on
what you say, and vice versa.
So there are cues, really."

Then I said...

"Well, if you look at it that way..."

And you said...

"No, that isn't right. You're supposed to argue
a bit more, be a bit more stubborn."

And I said, right on cue...

"I'm tired of being stubborn. I want
to agree. I don't care what's written down.
Kiss me."

And the curtain fell to a standing ovation
As the prologue, unscripted, occurred.
