This Maud Of Mine (early 1990's)

...has burnt a city in her time, cap-
itol offense, go on now Maud you
put a match up to my border
watch me revel in the flame

She's gone this Maud of mine, gone and
burned me up again my buildings
smolder
burning piles
shifting ash and flaming ruin and
before she left she roasted by my side

She's gone this Maud of mine, gone bu
I know that she'll return
before I've finished reconstructing
she'll set me once again to burn and
she will turn her face towards me after
sweating at my breath and she
will step right through the scorching arch to
join me and we'll
dance along the flame
