Dust settles on what is left
Of the rest of your time
Ignoring all the signs
Slip into the dark sublime
But I can see that you have not
Yet abandoned all
I can see you might be able
To heed my desperate call and
Salvage what you can
Twisted image of your worth
Led you to destruction's lair
A strangle hold on your ambition
Helps him to keep you there
But if you feel the yearning
Or hope of any kind
Hoard it and protect it
Keep all that you may find
Salvage what you can
