Every other breath is evil
And invades my stupid goodly brain
O'erleaping ribaldry to sickness
Tripping on a fallen conscience
Even thoughts are good at odds with odd ones
Skip an inhalation to deny my darker half
Gray matter filled with white noise dropping
Ne'er reaching deeper than my neck
Gripping in my clenched air shaft
Exhalations exhumation for the heart
Suffocating from an image
Air crushing nothing's weight
Asphyxia will fix it straight
Thought can break a building into brick
Oxygen in corners where no oxygen has been
I don't want it I don't need it
I'm not used to breathing
I'm not used to heaven diving down my throat
