I step through your mouth onto a plain
Nothing obscures my view in any direction
The grass is green right next to me
And slowly changes color as it runs away
Ending blue so far away against the sky
The lack of obstruction is so obvious,
so complete -
I shut my eyes and sprint
Opened again
I know I have moved
My breast heaves, my muscles ache
But the view is just the same
I didn't have to move
If I wanted to nothing could stop me
This is the plain inside your mouth
