Murder Elegy (Fall '00)

I was a pirate with a parrot when I murdered
I made them walk the plan I slit their throats
I hung them from the main sail
I watched them twitch til death
They brayed and baaed like bleeding billy goats

I never had a single feeling for them in me
I gave them awful graves I made them beg
I laughed at their confessions
I denied their last requests
Their blood was drained and funneled through my keg

And now in my declining years
Their words come back to me
Howling like shrieking zephyrs
Lulling me to sleep to let me see

And this is the tune I sing for them

Yeah yeah yeah

(ADDED LYRICS 2006)

They plucked my eye out
They chopped my leg off
I kept sailing
Bailing seas of red
Of pain of death
Wailing like banshees
I joined them with the wind
Their teeth could not stop
Their final breaths
