Myth Maker (Fall '99)

I sprang out of my head
Right when I saw you
I gathered all the power
That was mine
You tapped me on the shoulder
You asked me about the band
Transformed and all a gland
You looked so fine

Let's stand up on the riser
Until we have to leave
It's funny how your face
Was all around
I leaned low against your hip
Already feeling high
I let gravity defy
Look what I found

Waiting in your car
You'd been brought there by a fake
Only to find another
Waiting to be true
Hiding in my skin
I'd been brought there on the make
Only to find a myth
In making; you

Myth maker
Won't you make a myth with me?
Myth maker
I ask what you gave for free

My heart was a rock
You bore it up to fruit
From palms of granite
Pomegranates
Myth maker, tear my root
I know who you are
Is?
Is?
Is Is
Isis
